Use of anticheleggende.com and of the free ebook Where Legends Are Born.
1. Who runs the site
anticheleggende.com is run by Dario Pio Francesco Termini, who runs the projects Ancient Legends and Antiche Leggende, devoted to telling myths and legends. Contact: privacy@anticheleggende.com. The site doesn’t sell anything and doesn’t allow purchases.
2. The free ebook
The ebook Where Legends Are Born is free and available in English and Italian (Dove nascono le leggende). To get it, you enter your first name, email and language, then confirm your email with the 6-digit code we send you. With the right code you can download the ebook for 48 hours from the same browser.
When you request the ebook you join the newsletter in the language you chose: every week you get a free myth by email, along with other content from the project, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, and the ebook you downloaded is still yours.
3. Content
The stories retell myths and traditions, sometimes through narrative adaptation: dialogue, settings and passages may be reworked, and they are not always historical reconstructions or literal translations of the sources. The content is meant for cultural interest and entertainment.
4. What you can do with the ebook
The ebook is for your personal reading. Without permission you may not resell it, publish it online or distribute copies, or reuse its text, illustrations and layout. This doesn’t cover the myths themselves, public-domain sources or uses the law always allows, such as quotation.
5. Fair use of the site
You may not try to breach the site’s security, send automated requests to the form, use other people’s email addresses or get around the code verification.
6. Availability
We do our best to keep the site and the download working, but technical interruptions can happen. If something goes wrong, write to the address above. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
7. External links
The site links to our YouTube and Instagram channels. These are external services with their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Privacy and cookies
How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy. What we store in your browser is explained in the Cookie Policy.
9. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms if the site or the services we use change: the version in force is always the one published on this page. Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. For any question, write to privacy@anticheleggende.com.
