What anticheleggende.com stores in your browser, and why.
1. In short
The site uses only two technical cookies, which verify your email and let you download the ebook, plus one entry in your browser’s storage to remember that you’ve read the cookie notice. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no profiling.
2. What we store
al_codice: a technical cookie set when you request the verification code. It holds an encrypted fingerprint of the code and of your email, signed by the site: neither the code nor your email can be read in plain text. It lasts 15 minutes and is deleted as soon as verification succeeds.
al_session: a technical cookie set after verification. It holds an encrypted fingerprint of your email and the language you chose, signed by the site, and lets you download the ebook. It lasts 48 hours.
Both cookies are protected: the browser doesn’t expose them to page scripts (HttpOnly), doesn’t send them to other sites (SameSite=Lax) and only sends them over a secure connection (Secure).
al_cookie_notice_v3: an entry saved in your browser’s local storage when you click “Got it” on the notice. It only stops the notice from showing again, and lasts 180 days.
3. What isn’t here
The site has no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other analytics or advertising tools, and it doesn’t embed videos, posts or forms from other services. The links to YouTube and Instagram are plain links: those services install nothing unless you click them.
Open and click statistics for newsletter emails concern the emails, not this site: they are explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Why we don’t ask for consent
Technical cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for don’t require prior consent under EU rules (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive). The notice on the site is for information only: clicking “Got it” doesn’t authorise anything else.
5. How to delete them
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you delete al_codice before entering the code, or al_session before downloading, you’ll need to request a new code from the main page.
